This file cabinet is adorable and the perfect size to use as a file cabinet and end table next to a chair in my home office.

Unfortunately, it's currently been put back in the box it came in and it's been shoved in the attic after a nightmarish assembly attempt.

First of all, it comes in a bazillion pieces. My husband filled up our living room just trying to sort it all out. Then came the time to put it together. There was a lot of banging noises followed by cussing going on, so I left the room for an hour that turned into two. I crept back in to see if I could help. More cursing.

Finally, it was getting dark and I went to make dinner. Before I knew it and before it ever had a chance, my adorable file cabinet vanished into the recesses of the attic.

Now I am beginning the delicate process of gentle reminders that I really do need that filing storage and wouldn't it be nice to have a place to set a cup next to the chair...Read more
