This sturdy cabinet is just what we needed for our home business. It is attractive and sturdy...very good bang for our buck. We did not have any trouble putting it together..nice looking finished product.
Nice looking, but poor quality hardware make this a worlthess purchase.,

The product looks nice, and is fairly easy to assemble. But my main gripe is with the rails. I had the cabinet 70-80% capacity with paper files, when, upon what probably was the 100th opening of the drawer, the rails popped apart. upon examination, the metal rails actually bent out of shape. unfortuenatly Home Depot, errr... I mean Home Decorator's just says's "too bad" fill out a form, and *maybe* we can allow you to purchase replacement parts. YIKES.
For the Price I wasn't expecting fine wood (although when I purchased it the ad said solid wood, which it IS NOT, it is cardboard like composite). I did expect it to serve the intended fucntion, hold papers and open and close.
I guess if you just need a place to hold our styrofoam peanut collection, or perhaps ping-pong balls, this file cabinet would be for you. For me, I've got a useless drawer sitting on my floor and looking forward to a 3-4 hour hunt for replacment parts (I estimate it will cost me $70 to...Read more
