I bought this unit to organize my kids video games and equipment.
On the PLUS side:
It has areas for just about everything they need. The games go on the side shelves. Induction mats and controllers on the larger shelves. I was even able to add a guitar hook on the flat side.
On the MINUS side:
One of the panels arrived cracked and I did not notice until assembly was nearly complete. I kept it to avoid the hassle of a return. Also, while the unit is VERY heavy, it's made of particle board. My son over tightened one of the screws waaay too easily because the material is just not the best. Finally, you cannot load videos or games all the way across the side shelves because there isn't enough height to get them in or out. You have to allow enough room to lean the games and angle them out.
Overall, it lives up to it's purpose and I guess it was worthwhile.
