Designed to be compatible with the 300 line sectional series for office systems installation or as a stand-alone unit for your filing or storage needs. The Lateral Sectional File is an elegant addition to any office, den or room. This unit is a Vertical File Leg Base only. The standard leg base is 7-1/4 H x 17-1/4 W x 19-7/8 D and is constructed of solid hardwood. The four solid wood aprons are join to the hardwood legs using a sliding dove tail joint to maximize strength. Two 13/16 T x 33 L hardwood rails are fasten to the top of the leg base frame for added stability and to form a male/female connection with the above lateral section. The leg base and separate top allows the stackable Lateral Sectional File to be put together to meet individual space and use requirements. When stacked one, two or three high, the Lateral sectional File has the same height and width as a 314 sectional unit with a depth of 19 7/8 inches. This allows for uniform overall height in a run of side to side groupings with stacks of regular sectionals. The leg base and crown top are similarly the same in height and width as the 300 sectional series. Complete case with three 314-20 sections with Crown and Leg Base. Made from solid Oak, Birch or Walnut lumber, custom-dried in our own kilns, the 300 series has the classical look of fine furniture with the durability of solid wood construction. Sectional Files is secured with the others in a stack with the use of a phillips head screwdriver. Stability will be assured through the installation of an Anti-tip drawer locking system that will allow for the use of every drawer.
